Introduction

This guidance document provides step-by-step instructions for applicants on how to complete the application process for the CGG Persons Certification Scheme. Following these guidelines will ensure that your application is accurately completed and that all necessary information is provided.

 

1. Application Form Overview

The application form is designed to collect all necessary information to assess your eligibility for the certification. It is important to fill out each section completely and accurately. The application form typically includes the following sections:

Supporting Information and Documents

Declaration and Signature

2. Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Personal Information (Section A, Subsection A.1.)

Enter your full name as it appears on your government-issued identification.

Provide your contact details, including email address, phone number, and mailing address.

Include your date of birth and nationality.

Step 2: Organisation’s Information (Section A, Subsection A.2.)

Enter the organisation’s name of the Organisation you are currently employed or engaged.

Provide their contact details, including email address, web site, phone number, and mailing address.

Step 3: Organisation’s Activity and Applicant’s Information (Section A, Subsection A.3.)

Enter the Organisation’s activity.

Enter whether your current role is a management or operational role by selecting

Enter your current role and the number of years in that role.

Enter your previous role and the number of years in that role.

Step 4: Certification Scheme Selection (Section B)

Indicate which certification scheme you are applying for by selecting the relevant box next to each scheme.

Important Note #1: Applicants may apply for 1 Certification Scheme at a time only.

Important Note #2: Section B provides information on the Certification Criteria for each scheme. There are two types of criteria : Scheme Specific Criteria (applying to the corresponding scheme only) and Generic Criteria (applying to all schemes). When applying for a Certification Scheme, the Applicants shall ensure that they aim to comply with the applicable Certification Criteria.

Step 5: Supporting Documents (Section C)

Section C lists the supporting information and documents that shall be submitted with the application.  

Provide the names and contact details of two professional references who will be required to confirm your current (and previous as applicable) role.

Important notice: You need to obtain permission of the two professional references prior to providing their contact details on the present. To confirm that permission was obtained, you need to tick the relevant box.

Step 6: Declaration and Signature (Section D)

Read the declaration statements as well as the Annexes carefully.

Sign and date the application form to confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.

 

3. Submitting Your Application

Review your application form and required information to ensure that all sections are completed and that all necessary information is complete.

Ensure you have obtained permission from the two professional references for sharing their name and contact details with us. Ensure you have ticked the confirmation box. (Note: An automated email will be send by the system to the two professional references recorded. You need to ensure that the two professional references have received and have responded to this email.)

When ready, submit your application form online by pressing the ‘Submission’ button which is located under your signature.

 

4. After Submission

After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application.

ISONIKE (on behalf of CGG Project) will review your application to ensure that you meet the prerequisites and eligibility criteria.

After the review of your application, you will receive back email the Application with Section E of the present Application completed by ISONIKE and containing the result of the Application Review. This result may be either an acknowledgement on the fulfilment of prerequisites and eligibility criteria or an acknowledgement on the non-fulfilment of prerequisites and eligibility criteria (In the latter case you will receive a list of additional information / documents required).

Once the Application for Certification reach a stage that the prerequisites and eligibility criteria are fully met and the relative acknowledgement is sent by ISONIKE, you may then proceed with the e-test.

Having completed the GCC e-Test, you will need to submit the examination result to ISONIKE.

If additional information or documentation is required, you will be contacted by the certification body.
