University of Thessaly

University of Thessaly (UTH), founded in 1984, is a prominent institution of Higher Education aiming to promote scientific knowledge through teaching and research, and to contribute to the cultural and economic development of the local community, and the society at large. Today, UTH, with 37 Departments and 8 schools, is the third biggest University in Greece, with its own identity and with a prominent position in the national educational system, providing 105 undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and extra-curricular modules in specific research and business fields.
UTH participates in the Couriers Go Green proposal with the Traffic, Transportation and Logistics Laboratory (TTLog) of the Department of Civil Engineering, focusing on the design, development and implementation of the educational/training program on green logistics. TTLog has wide expertise in the fields of sustainable transport planning, multimodality, urban mobility, behavioral analysis, freight transportation and logistics, intelligent transport systems, data analytics, impact assessment and evaluation, transportation safety, network optimization and traffic management, sustainable business models and decision making. It has coordinated or participated in a great number of EU funded projects, including Erasmus+, Framework Programmes (FP) and Horizon 2020, and national projects. Among the objectives of the laboratory are the support of undergraduate/postgraduate educational and research programs in the domain of transportation, the guidance and supervision of doctoral research on innovative methodologies of theoretical, scientific and technical content, the provision of long-life education and training to professionals, the promotion of up-to-date knowledge through seminars and conferences, the liaison of research, education and industry and the dissemination of findings through scientific publications.

Budapest Chamber of Commerce (BCCI) was founded in 1850 and it is the largest chamber of commerce in Hungary, gathering small and medium-size companies from the capital city. The Romanian Post Company operates in the postal services domain, governed by the Law on Postal Services no. 187/2013 which authorizes GEO no. 13/2013, and carries out its main activities within the definition of „Postal activities carried out under the universal service obligation”.
The Company was designated by ANCOM (National Regulator of postal services) as the sole universal service provider in the postal services field in Romania for the 1st January 2022 – 31st December 2024 period, in conformity with the ANCOM Decision no. 1363/2019.
The shareholders of the Romanian Post are the Romanian state through its representative, the Ministry of Innovation, Research and Digitalization – MCID (93, 52% of the shares) and 6, 48% of the shares being held by the investment fund Fondul Proprietatea.
The Romanian Post Company is the sole postal services operator and one of the leading players on the domain-affiliated market in Romania, assuring the necessary conditions for national postal services integration in the international system.
The operated activities of the Company are in the postal communication field, the administration, development and exploitation of postal services and the collaboration with similar foreign organizations with the goal of international externalization of postal services.
 
The Company’s main areas of activity are:
A. Postal services, respectively:
I. Basic postal services (universal postal services)
II. Postal services other than the basic ones (postal services outside of the universal postal services area).
B. The editing, printing, commercializing and preserving stamps and postal effects;
C. Other service types (independent services or adjacent to the upper-mentioned ones) and any other activities in conformity with the present laws and regulations.
